ABOUT US
The Horn Academy (A.T.C.) is a musical association that brings together the great family of horns. Created with the aim of enhancing and promoting the rich cultural heritage, both national and European, of these “very close relatives”, it aims to highlight their diversity and manifest this singularity through original musical projects.
The Horn and Pipe Academy aims to bring together horn and pipe players to promote specific musical pieces dedicated to them, around projects dedicated to scholarly, traditional, hunting and entertainment music. His musical universe includes both ancient and contemporary compositions with national and international perspectives.
As part of its policy, ATC aims to develop, promote and enrich the heritage of horn music through new musical and cultural creations.
Open to creations, encounters and discoveries, the association plans to inform a large public about the musical art of horn players and trumpeters. This involves the participation of writers, researchers, composers and academic specialists, among others, with the aim of valorizing the most diverse materials and weaving links between the different actors involved in the musical art of the horns.
